A new free map showing the cultural treasures of Cambridge and the cycle routes between them
Cambridge is the UK’s capital of cycling – so hop on a bike and explore the cultural jewels of the city. Pick up a new map to guide you to 20 key cultural venues, some of our key festivals and illustrating the locations of the new Cycle of Songs Commission.
With the Tour de France departing from Cambridge on 7 July it seemed like the ideal opportunity to promote cycling to cultural venues across the city. Cambridge City Council and the University of Cambridge Museums and Botanic Garden, with support from Arts Council England, have developed this new map and guide to 20 cultural venues across the city.
You can pick a copy of this free map at the Big Weekend, the Tourist Information Centre and the 20 participating venues (see below for a list and weblinks).
The map and guide will be launched at the Big Weekend on 5 July and will then be available from all participating arts and cultural organisations over the summer.
