There are a number of other collections, archives and exhibitions within the University of Cambridge which are free and open to the public.

The Lawrence Room at Girton College

Girton College’s own museum collection – an outstanding resource for both teaching and research comprising Anglo-Saxon, Egyptian and Mediterranean material.

New Hall Art Collection

Open: daily 10am-6pm

Displayed throughout Murray Edwards College this permanent collection of over 400 modern and contemporary art by women artists, is regarded as the most significant of its kind in Europe.

The Press Museum

The Cambridge University Press Museum contains original and facsimile copies of items relating to publishing, printing, bibles, prayer books, Press homes in Cambridge, London and around the world and its people.

St John's College Library Exhibitions

The exhibition area in St John's College Library showcases a range of exhibitions throughout the year, displaying items from our historic Special Collections. Details of current and forthcoming exhibitions can be found on the Library website. 

Cambridge University Library Exhibitions

Open: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm
            Saturday 9-4.30pm

Cambridge University Library mounts two major exhibitions each year in its Exhibition Centre. These are open to the general public and admission is free. To enquire about the exhibitions programme, email exhibitions@lib.cam.ac.uk.
