Museums and collections

Explore our collections after-hours with friends and a glass of wine.

On the 12 and 13 May this year visitor’s enjoyed late night access to three University of Cambridge Museums and the Cambridge University Library as part of Museums at Night. The national initiative encourages Museums up and down the country to open after-hours offering a different experience to Museum audiences.

This year the University Museums and Library in Cambridge offered evening drawing sessions, escape games, talks and storytelling as well as after-hours bars and jazz performances.

The University of Cambridge Museums are currently planning more evening openings and Lates for adults. If you missed out this May, keep an eye on this page and our Facebook pages, for updates.

The Museums also run an annual after-hours event for Families called Twilight at the Museums.

Supported using public funding by Arts Council England
