Join artist tutor Nabil Ali for this fascinating online lecture course explaining how paint and ink can be made using plants and additional organic ingredients. The paint making processes are inspired by historical key technical manuscripts and classical sources using forgotten craftsmens’ ideas and techniques. The lecture course aims to provide an understanding to establish a paint system through utilising everyday plants from your garden, whilst exploring organic paint recipes.  The lecture course is suitable for people interested in recipes and historical colourants made from plants.

Nabil is a professional artist and visiting tutor to the University of Cambridge and the New University of Lisbon, and is known globally throughout the Art Conservation industry.
