Who

Our Place in Space is a playful experiment that asks: What is the difference between 'US' and 'THEM'? What happens to your perspective when you look back at earth from space? Centred around an epic scale model of the solar system designed by Oliver Jeffers, Our Place in Space combines a three-dimensional sculpture trail, interactive AR app and exciting learning and events programmes.

To celebrate Our Place in Space in Cambridge, there will be 2 big public events on Midsummer Common celebrating the arrival and departure of the sculpture trail: a 2-day launch weekend on the 30th and 31st of July,  and a Big Bang Bank Holiday 'Picnic at the Planets' on Sunday, 28th August.

With pop-up events and activities happening across August, you'll also find themed 'Our Place in Space' events happening at the Polar Museum, the Fitzwilliam Museum and the Whipple Museum.
