The Whipple Museum holds many illustrations from the botanical atlas created by Carolina and Arnold Dodel-Port between 1878 and 1883. During the production of the atlas the couple corresponded with Charles Darwin, who thought that the book would be "most useful to all who have to teach Botany". Find out more about botanical art and use microscopes to create your own detailed drawings of plants. Drop-in session, no booking required. Activity takes approx. 20 minutes, depending on how meticulous an artist you turn out to be!
