6.1   Free timed tickets must be booked in advance via https://www.tickets.museums.cam.ac.uk. Please do your best to arrive on time (or preferably 5 minutes early) as we are operating timed ticketing and we want to make sure that your arrival experience is as smooth as possible. Museums and galleries now have a legal duty to have systems in place to obtain contact details for NHS Test and Trace, and to display the QR code poster for the NHS Test and Trace App. If you have provided your details and opted to share these with Test and Trace on our ticketing system, the Museum is required to keep these details for 21 days after your visit.

6.2.     When you arrive at the Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences, please wait outside at the bottom of the steps in the queueing area until a member of our team removes the barrier and welcomes you into the Museum.  If you arrive late please make your way up the steps and through the main doors where staff will greet you. After your ticket has been checked, your visit will follow a one-way route around the gallery, keeping left. All our galleries are open except the Whewell Mineral Gallery.
