About the Session
Visiting Kettle's Yard with a introductory tour and drawing activities is free to all UK-based state schools. You can choose from a variety of different activities and types of visits to suit your needs. Prices for other offers and fee-paying schools may apply. Please get in touch to find out more.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings are set aside exclusively for schools, academies, colleges and universities. Self-led visits during regular opening hours can also be booked in advance.
All our practical workshops at Kettle's Yard are led by our learning team or an artist facilitator and respond to a theme, material or concept from the House or exhibition. The workshops are tailored to the needs and interests of the teacher and/or group making the booking.
Practical workshops provide the opportunity for pupils to explore artists techniques, experimenting with new processes and materials. Workshops length can vary. Feel free to get in touch if you would like to discuss working with us: firstname.lastname@example.org or call and ask to speak to a member of the learning team 01223 748100.
You can also find teachers packs and resources on our website here.
