Guided Tour of the University Museum of Zoology, Cambridge
Tuesday 4 December 2018, 2-3pm, Museum of Zoology, FREE
Join Museum Manager, Jack Ashby, as he takes you on a tour of the University Museum of Zoology, Cambridge. Discover thousands of incredible animal specimens, including one of the world’s most complete dodo skeletons, Cambridge’s largest resident – a 21 metre fin whale – and other huge skeletons such as elephants, an ice-age giant sloth as tall as a giraffe, and the Diprotodon, an extinct wombat-like marsupial that was the size of a rhino. During this one hour tour, Jack will show you the highlights of the collection, and explain some of the history behind the items and their collectors.

MAA Highlights Tour
Wednesday 5 December (1.30 - 2pm) and Saturday 8 December (2 - 2.30pm), Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, FREE
Discover some of the highlights of the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology’s collection, including a Roman skeleton that inspired Sylvia Plath; a 14m high totem pole and new Pacific artworks that are on display thanks to Heritage Lottery Fund and Lottery players.
