About the speakers
Sarah-Jane Harknett leads the Education and Outreach team, planning, delivering and evaluating the museum's events and activities. She is currently involved in the Sensational Museums project which has seen an intervention created by people with lived experiences of disabilities installed in one of the museum's galleries.
Ayesha Fuentes was part of the team which carried out the museum's ambitious Stores Move project which saw over 300,000 objects transported across Cambridge to the Centre for Material Culture. Her work focused on object conservation, safe handling, access, and ethical care. Until July 2025, she worked on the Hidden in Plain Sight project, and is currently a Research Affiliate at MAA.
