About the Session 

Explore how technology has changed through time and learn more about key inventions such as microscopes, telescopes, globes and calculators. The Museum has many other intriguing inventions such as pre-film animation devices, papier-mâché human anatomical models and glass fungi. What will your students discover?

This session involves object handling and can be adapted to fit other science or history topics in school - please let us know what else you are doing so that we can see what links we can make. You can find an example timetable for this session at the museum here

Duration: Can be booked as: 

A 90-minute session in the museum

or

A 30-to 60-minute outreach session (online or in person) with ideas for activities to complete in class

 

Available: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (museum sessions 10-11.30 or 1-2.30, outreach negotiable), subject to availability
