Decorate a paper plate.
Looking through the extensive ceramics collection at Saffron Walden Museum, with many designs on display, will you choose an elephant, lion, wild pig, or a garden bird for your eye-catching centrepiece?
Add metallic paint to the edging and doilies to create an intricate pattern.
Each session will be 30 minutes, starting at 10:30, 11:45, 12:30 and 2pm.

Can you find the animals hiding in the meadow?
Weaving your own meadow scene, you will then cut and stick a range of creatures to hide in the grass.
You can then decorate the edge of the meadow with paper butterflies and draw vibrant meadow flowers. Taking inspiration from a wildlife diorama, which animals will you choose to include?

Wallace was the star attraction in Wombwell's travelling menagerie in the early 1800's, and he still attracts visitors today.
For this event, you will use Wallace as the inspiration for a fun craft activity, making roarsome lion bookmarks.
