The Centre for Computing History, Unit 1, Rene Court, Coldhams Road, Cambridge CB1 3EW
In this fun and hands-on workshop, participants will create their very own cube-shaped robot named Q-B. Using 3D-printed parts, an LCD screen for the robot’s expressive face, and a powerful yet tiny Raspberry Pi Pico as the brain, students will bring Q-B to life from the ground up.
They'll learn how to assemble the cube structure, connect electronic components, and program Q-B to move using a servo motor. Along the way, you will gain valuable skills in design, electronics, and coding—while having a blast building your own smart, moving robot friend!
The event is suitable for children aged 10 and above.
Booking essential.
This event is part of Summer at the Museums 2025.
