Come and explore, play, create and have fun with materials in our Creative Studio! Play Make Saturday is a free monthly make and play workshop for families. 

Workshops are free and supported by the Fitz Families team. All materials are included, and the workshops are suitable for children aged 5-12 years with their parents and carers.

Where: Creative Studio on the lower ground floor

When: Activity slots at 10am, 11am, 2pm & 3pm. This is a pre-booked activity lasting 45 minutes.

These free events build upon our ‘Family Welcome Project’, a participatory research project with the North Cambridge Child and Family Centre.

Join us for a hands-on crafting session and create your own beautiful paper orchid flower! Using simple materials and guided steps, you’ll craft a paper orchid bloom to take home—no green fingers required. We’ll also have some amazing real plants for you to have a look at and learn about.

Simply pick up a free Crazy Cone Caper trail on your way into the Garden and start investigating.  On your adventure you will find amazing pinecones from all around the world, discover cool facts and solve puzzles. Have you got the skills to work out which of our six suspects is guilty?

Set in our beautiful landscape, the Festival of Plants celebrates the wonder of plants when the Garden is in full bloom.
