Zoology Live! 2020 - every day at 4pm from Monday 22 June to Friday 26 June and throughout the day on Saturday 27 June.
Come and learn about the journey of fossil pollen grains and how they can teach us about changes in past vegetation and climate. We will explore their amazing shapes by looking down the microscope, learn about different types and which plants produce them and finally make some ourselves!
Explore the animal kingdom with stories and play. The Museum of Zoology is the 'plaice' to learn about fishes and their friends. Suitable for children ages 2-5. Free. Booking recommended.
We’re part of the national Where’s Wally? The Big Museum Hunt, organised by Kids in Museums and Walker Books, to celebrate the release of the new Where’s Wally? book, Double Trouble at the Museum. Can you find Wally in our collections? Pick up an activity sheet and get a special sticker if you do!

Visit our new Special Exhibition, which brings together much of Robert S. Whipple's founding donation to the University of Cambridge - a collection formed just as people were beginning to consider the significance of the history of science.
Family activities and party games will run from 1.30pm - 4pm in the Learning Gallery.
Can't make this one? We host at least three Open Saturdays a year, usually during the Festival of Ideas, Science Festival, and Open Cambridge. Keep an eye on our website for more upcoming dates.
Choose something in the Museum to draw and we can add your drawing to our 'Wall of Fame' which will be published on our social media after half term. If you are stuck for inspiration, why not have a go at one of our challenge cards?
This event is working in partnership with a local adoption group to celebrate families with adopted children.
