Who

Guided House Tours take place on most Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays at 11.15am.

 

Concessions apply to full time students and those receiving income benefits.

See the House before regular opening hours, find out more about artists and highlights from the Kettle’s Yard collection and get a brief history of the House and Jim and Helen Ede, creators of Kettle’s Yard.

Tours will begin at 11.15am at the information desk and end at 12noon in the House. When the tour is finished you are welcome to stay in the House and explore our collection and the spaces further at your own pace.

Tickets should be booked in advance online or in person. Online booking will close the day before each tour.

We ask that you arrive at 11am, 15 minutes before the start of your tour.

Access

The House is not fully accessible and this tour includes climbing the spiral staircase in the cottage as well as crossing several other stepped levels. The extension to the House is fully accessible and we are happy to accommodate all visitors wishing to join us on a guided tour. If you wish to book an accessible guided tour we ask that you contact us in advance of booking. Important information for your visit

Due to conservation and security reasons, no bags or large coats are allowed in the House.

Please note that there are no toilets in the House.

No food or drink are allowed in the House.

Visitors are invited to sit at the library table in the House at Kettle’s Yard and browse the books, however this is not a lending library.

We welcome artists but only pencils and pads/books size A3 or smaller can enter the House. No wet materials (including pens) or chalks are allowed.

Children who will be carried do not need a ticket. Please note that the House is not suitable for buggies.
