Recognised as one of the most exciting string quartets of their generation, the Belinfante Quartet transports us to Venice through their performances of 'A Death in Venice' (1973), 20th century British composer Benjamin Britten's last ever opera. An intimate work which explores life, love, death and hope for what follows, experience Britten's third and last string quartet in a brand new light.
Fast forward to today and though Venice is faced with sinking structures and rising water levels, hope remains. Bringing the joy is one of the UK's brightest emerging composers, Rhiannon Randle performing her toe-tapping new ‘Baile’, or ‘Bally’. Though rooted in Irish folk music traditions, it's a universal ode to the places, landscapes and people we call home.
