Join exhibition curators Martin Gayford, Martin Kemp and Jane Munro for an introduction to Hockney's Eye, an exhibition exploring David Hockney’s interactions with artists of the past and with technologies of viewing, both past and present.

Held across The Fitzwilliam Museum and the Heong Gallery at Downing College, the exhibition will show how the artist’s own uses of technologies, from camera lucida to iPad drawings, were inspired by his close analysis of paintings by artists as varied as Fra Angelico, Hobbema, Ingres and Monet to ensure that his ways of depicting combine the radical and the traditional.

Please note this is a hybrid event in partnership with the Heong Gallery, Downing College. In-person tickets to attend The Howard Theatre are now sold out,  online tickets to enjoy a livestream via zoom are still available.
