The Centre for Music Performance presents New Music at the Fitzwilliam Museum

Part of the ‘Sounds New Festival’, this lunchtime concert showcases innovative new works across contemporary classical and popular music. 

Performers include:

• THE TARKA ENSEMBLE: Lola Frisby Williams (clarinet), Tara Spencer (violin I), Elsa Chung (violin II), Clio Proffitt (viola), Ola Kiezun (cello), performing Gumboots by living British composer David Bruce.
• KASHIM DUO: Imaan Kashim (violin) and Jamaal Kashim (harp), performing a world premiere by Glenn Downie, a Ph.D. candidate in composition at the Faculty of Music.
• KATHRYN GALLAGHER student singer-songwriter, performing a set of original songs.
