Rob works on building our presence in community settings across Cambridge, supporting community-focused work across the collections and the UCM Community Panel. He was previously Exhibition and Displays Coordinator at the Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences.

Connecting with communities at holiday lunches

In 2025, over 1,000 people engaged with our collections in community centres across Cambridge, supporting Cambridge Sustainable Food and Cambridge City Council’s holiday lunch programme. Rock ChYpPs: putting young people’s objects on display

‘Rock ChYpPS’ is a co-curated temporary exhibition at the Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences. It displays geological objects loaned to the museum from children in the local Cambridge area, and aimed to provide a space for museum staff and local children to meet and connect over geology.
